Credit, and Contest

I would like to give credit to BlackandWhiteDragons for the fabulous background and the image of the quill that's the, well I guess symbol for this site.

It has come to my attention that, even though we are on are second day we need some excitement. Some Sazz! So I propose a contest.

Rules, it will be a writing contest no matter how good or bad you are! All members are welcomed to take part.

(I now realized we need another forum)

• It has to be prose or poetry(a prose is like a poem but it tells a story more clearly.)
  Less then 200 words long, but not shorter then 75
  Try not to make it holiday related
  and all submissions are due by December 26th
  You can only submit one, to the forum that will shortly be put up.
  

I ask that you do not spam in this forum that the submissions will be in.

Winnings you ask? Well that must be a surprise, but I promise you will like it. And no BWD you will not need a Wambulance.

Judges will be decided soon, a judge can not enter the contest so anyone willing to judge send me a PM and the reasons why you want to. If no one offers either me or BWD will be the judge or judges.

OK, I know Scottie wants to be a judge, but I can't write poetry to save my sorry hide, so I'll judge as well.

Poetry doesn't have to rhyme. It doesn't have to have a rhythm.

Ok well I'm a voracious reader so judging this sort of stuff would be really easy and quick while still being a fair judge. I'm also a great editor so for the people who don't win I can give them any tips/critiques they needed.

I also think it's better to have two judges then it's not just the opinion of one person.

I'm also a Mod... if that makes any difference...

Yeah, I'll have to work on it... Prose would have to be more serious I guess, whereas with rhyme I can go for the silly(:

Ally, I have a HUGE request. Do you think it might be possible to chanage the maximum amount of word to 165/170? I am literally begging here; it was hard enough for me to write poetry, and now it's too long?

I know its completely up to you- but that is a request that comes from the very depths of my heart :/
